What to expect from the course:
1. There are numerous factors that influence chronic pain. This course will distill bestevidence for chronic pain management into segments that can be integrated into a busypractice.
2. Participants will understand fundamental principles of chronic pain management.
3. Participants will learn about assessment strategies to identify complex pain – specifically psychosocial screening, recognizing ‘sensitization’ and activity tolerance.
4. Participants will learn management strategies related to communication, facilitating self-efficacy, graded activity and exposure, and dealing with flare‐ups.
